Malaysia’s 5 Cellular Community Operators (MNOs) – CelcomDigi via Infranation, Maxis, U Cellular, Telekom Malaysia (TM), and YTL Energy Worldwide (YTL) – signed share subscription agreements (SSAs) on Friday to amass fairness within the 5G wholesale operator Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).

Strategic Collaboration

The 5 operators have collectively agreed to carry a 70 % stake in DNB, with every MNO taking a 14 % share. The Malaysian Authorities, represented by the Ministry of Finance (MOF), will retain the remaining 30 % and maintain a particular share.
