What some Kenyan women are now using Cow-milking jelly for! Africa,Entertainment,News

In one of the latest examples of how Kenyans have peculiar habits, women have turned a milking jelly into a beauty product. Several of them have been posting pictures of their dressing tables littered with dozens of cosmetics but conspicuously among them is the milking jelly. The Saturday Standard did a spot check and discovered various milking jelly brands in supermarkets in the city. Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko sparked the debate when he said both him and his wife have used Arimis,…

VIDEO: Ever heard of Madharau street in Nairobi where Kenyan prostitutes charge peanuts and operate 24/7? Africa,Business,Entertainment,News,Videos

When you visit Mlolongo, you wouldn’t miss Madharau Street, a stretch occupied by commercial sex workers. The most common business here is wines and spirits stores, miraadens and butcheries selling meat, from God knows where. The name Madharau allegedly came about from commercial sex workers’ ill treatment of men of little means who sought their service for a pittance.  The men always ended up saying, “hawa wasichana wanaangalia watu na madharau,” and the name ‘madharau’ (spite) stuck. This place is also referred to as home away from home, mostly by truck drivers. Most PSV conductors refer to it as Mlolongo ‘Stage ya…
